A person first
Frank is from Quebec. He made the trip many readers of this site are making right now: leaving a place where everything happens in French for a city where you have to go and find French, then keep it alive. That move, with its forms, its first weeks of dry cold and its evenings spent decoding an Alberta lease, is where Bonjour Calgary comes from.
Today he is a REALTOR® in Calgary with REPYYC, a team affiliated with Real Broker. He works in French and English with families arriving from Montréal or Québec City, professionals recruited by a local employer, students who stay after graduation, French speakers from Africa, Europe or the Caribbean looking for a first home in Canada, and Calgarians who simply prefer to do business in French.
What he likes about the work fits in one sentence: watching someone go from “I don’t understand this city” to “I know exactly where I want to live.” The rest, the viewings, negotiations, conditions, lawyer, key handover, is method. He has the method.
From Quebec to Alberta

What you can expect
A free first conversation, no obligation
By phone, video or over coffee. You explain your situation; Frank explains how things work here. You leave with answers, not a commitment.
French or English, your choice
Every Alberta document is in English; Frank reads them with you and explains them in French. With an English-speaking seller, lawyer or inspector, he bridges.
Local rules, explained
In Alberta a lawyer (not a notary) closes the deal, there is no land transfer tax, rental deposits are capped, home inspection is a licensed trade. You will understand each step before you sign it.
Relocation as a specialty
Choosing an area by commute, school, budget and lifestyle; renting first when that is wiser; buying when the timing is right. Frank made the trip himself.
A network that speaks French
Mortgage broker, insurer, lawyer, inspector, mover, builder: Frank is building a network of verified professionals who serve in French. See the Network page.
Zero pressure
Using this site signs you up for nothing. Only inquiries sent from the Homes section forms reach Frank. You can opt out at any time.
Who it is for, concretely
Buyers
First home or tenth, downtown condo or house in the southeast: search, viewings, offer, conditions, inspection, financing, lawyer, possession.
Sellers
Pricing from comparables, preparation, Real Property Report (RPR), marketing, offers, conditions, closing.
Relocation
Arriving for a job, a transfer, studies or a fresh start: a 90-day plan, from temporary rental to purchase.
Renters
Frank does not manage rentals, but he gladly answers questions about leases, deposits and areas, and knows who to send you to.
How a first conversation goes
- 1
You write through the form or by email; you pick French or English.
- 2
Frank usually replies the same day, the next business day at the latest.
- 3
Thirty minutes: your situation, your questions, a view of the market and the steps.
- 4
You decide what happens next. If it is a no, it is a no, with no pushy follow-ups.
